Figo is the latest car to hit the road soon from Ford in India.  It is the latest hatchback from Ford to compete with other car majors in this category namely Maruti, Hyundai, Chevrolet, and Tata.  It is going to be priced between 3.5 L to 5 L at the maximum in various cities in India.  Ford Figo will be launched in both the diesel and petrol variant in India.  It will come with all the features that a typical sedan comes along with.  It is also termed as the Ford Small Car specially for India.

Ford Figo is going to come with seven colours namely Squeeze (greenish colour), Colorado Red, Chill (lighter greyish color), Panther Black, Diamond White, Moondust Silver, and Sea Grey.  The interiors will be matching with that of the exterior color.ford

The overall length of Ford Figo is 3795 mm, width being 1680 mm and height 1427 mm.  Fuel tank capacity is 45 litres.  Wheel base is 2489 mm with the ground clearance being 168 mm.  Boot space is 284 L.

The engine being Duratec Petrol 1.2 L and 1.4 L Duratorq Diesel.  The fuel system for the petrol variant is SEFI and while for the diesel engine is common rail.  The valves is 16V DOHC for petrol and 8V SOHC for diesel.  The transmission for both and petrol and diesel Figo being 5 speed manual transmission.

 

Space:
It comes with the largest boot space in the same category of 284 litres and thus being able to keep large bags and luggage even when the car is full.  It also comes with flexible storage with folding the rear seats if needed and thereby adding more luggage.

 

Interiors:
Ford Figo comes with accessible controls and thus giving total comfort for the driver with power window button, centre stack, electric boot opener and adjust mirrors.  And comes with easy gear shift with the gear box which is in fact precision engineered cable shift gear.
